The collision occurred near Cristòfol de Moura street, around 9:25 a.m. Following the impact, the truck completely overturned onto the tracks.

The Bombers de la Generalitat (Catalan Firefighters) had to intervene quickly to extricate the driver, who was trapped inside the cabin. Once freed, the Servei d’Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) transported him to Hospital del Mar with less serious injuries.

To ensure safety during the operation, the catenary was cut, resulting in a temporary suspension of tram service between the Sant Joan Baptista and Besòs stops. Lines T4, T5, and T6 experienced altered frequencies until approximately 12 p.m., when the vehicle was righted and normal service was restored.
