Carnival 2026 arrives strongly in the Sant Andreu district of Barcelona, where a total of five large parades have been organized to fill the streets with costumes and revelry. The processions will take place in the neighborhoods of Sant Andreu de Palomar, Bon Pastor, La Sagrera, El Congrés i els Indians, and La Trinitat Vella.
The parades scheduled for Sunday, February 15, are those of Sant Andreu de Palomar and El Congrés i els Indians. The Sant Andreu de Palomar parade, reaching its 22nd edition, will start at 11 a.m. at the intersection of Concepció Arenal and Dublín and proceed down Fabra i Puig boulevard to the Jardins de la plaça de Can Fabra, where prizes will be awarded. Simultaneously, the Congrés i els Indians parade will depart at 11 a.m. from the plaça de Congrés Eucarístic and conclude at the plaça del Rom Cremat.
Regarding the Saturday parades, February 14, Bon Pastor will begin its procession at 4:30 p.m. from Mollerussa boulevard, ending at plaça de Robert Gerhard. At the same time, La Sagrera will change its route, starting from the plaça dels Jardins d’Elx, passing through streets like Garcilaso and Gran de la Sagrera, before returning to the same square. Finally, La Trinitat Vella will start at 5 p.m. at the plaça de Josep Andreu i Abelló and culminate at the plaça de la Trinitat.
All parades will include complementary activities for participants and residents. Both Bon Pastor and La Sagrera will offer a popular hot chocolate event at the end of the route, in addition to costume contests and children's entertainment shows. El Congrés i els Indians and La Trinitat Vella have also scheduled entertainment and the presentation of awards for the best costumes.
