The town of Bagà begins its Carnival celebrations this Friday, February 13th, featuring a program designed to encourage local creativity and community participation across all generations.

Festivities start today at 5:00 PM with a children's parade from Plaça Catalunya to the local pavilion. The Town Council will provide snacks and a musical performance by Pol Nord for families.
Saturday marks the main event with a float concentration at Carrer Pintor de Soto followed by a parade through the historic center. The troupe competition, revived last year, will award prizes for the most original choreography and costumes.
The celebration wraps up next Wednesday with the Ash Wednesday parade and the symbolic burning of King Carnival at Plaça Porxada, concluding with a traditional communal dinner.
