Berguedà Business Association Backs La Baells Power Plant Project

The Berguedà Business Association (ACEB) has officially endorsed the construction of the La Baells power plant, highlighting its potential to create jobs and boost the regional economy.

Ahead of the local referendums scheduled for March 28 in Vilada and la Nou, the local business community has sided with the project. They believe the 400 million euro investment will position Berguedà as a key player in the green energy transition.

The ACEB stated that their support depends on positive geological and environmental impact studies. Furthermore, they view the project as a chance to solve energy deficits, such as the power supply issues at the Olvan industrial park.
