Berguedà region shines at Batec Awards for local journalism and career achievements

The Central Catalonia branch of the Journalists Association of Catalonia will present the Batec Awards on March 6th in Manresa, honoring key media figures from Berguedà.

Televisió del Berguedà will be awarded for its 30-year coverage of the Patum festival. This local initiative prize is shared with El Ganxo, a digital platform recognized for its innovative sports broadcasting on Twitch and TikTok.
Josep Genescà, founder of Ràdio Puig-reig, will receive the Career Award alongside Gonçal Mazcuñán. Genescà is celebrated as the driving force behind the Fòrum 10 Comunicació, a long-standing media debate forum.
