The town of Puig-reig will celebrate its Carnival on February 13 and 14, introducing a new location for the parade's end and performances at Plaça Nova.

The main novelty of this year's Puig-reig Carnival is the change of location for the parade's finale. Although the route was already modified last year, rain prevented the debut of Plaça Nova as the stage for the troupes' performances. This year, weather permitting, the parade will start at 4:30 PM on Saturday from the Football Field.
The program begins on Friday morning with the children's parade. In the evening, the focus shifts to the Youth Carnival, which includes a communal dinner, the King Carnival proclamation, and a night parade through local bars, ending with a DJ party at the sports hall.
Beyond the main events, the Guillem de Berguedà Library is hosting workshops on the afternoons of February 10 and 12. Meanwhile, the Senior Carnival will take place on February 11 at the sports hall, ensuring festive activities for all age groups in Puig-reig.
