Several towns in the Pyrenees began activities this Wednesday, March 4th, to commemorate International Women's Day, focusing on female visibility in sports and history.

In la Seu d'Urgell, INEFC Pirineus organized a day of advocacy at Plaça de les Monges. The event aimed to highlight the role of women in the sporting world, featuring a manifesto reading and academic discussions.

Meanwhile, in Puigcerdà, the Cerdanya County Council hosted an institutional act featuring historical photographs of local women. The images showcased pioneers in winter sports and agriculture, emphasizing their essential role as the backbone of the community.
