Around eighty residents from the Puigcerdà sociosanitary residence enjoyed the center's inaugural 'Olympics' event, a fun and sporting day designed for their capabilities.

The initiative, previously held in La Seu d’Urgell and Andorra, was organized for the first time in Puigcerdà. This avoided the need for residents to travel and allowed both residential users and day center attendees to participate. Throughout the morning, participants engaged in seven adapted games, developed from the center's regular cognitive and motor stimulation activities.
The residence's director, Adriana Castanyé, explained that the chosen activities are those that are most popular among residents and where they show the greatest engagement and enjoyment. These include games like fishing for objects of varying sizes, foam ball basketball, and ring toss, a game many recall from their youth.
This special edition of the 'Olympics' not only offers physical and mental benefits but also involved residents in the entire preparation process. For weeks, they actively participated in crafting the cups, medals, cauldron, and visors, fostering their creativity and sense of belonging.
The day concluded with a musical aperitif and an awards ceremony, celebrating the efforts and participation of all attendees.
