The exhibition “El mite i el llibre” (The Myth and the Book), located at the historic Farmàcia Esteva in Llívia, invites visitors to explore the establishment's history through its Book of Honor. This volume, dating back to 1917, preserves the dedications and signatures of numerous personalities who have passed through this emblematic location in the Cerdanya region.
The book has become a living chronicle documenting visits by relevant figures at local, national, and international levels. Among the most notable names are the King of Spain, Alfons XIII, the former President of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Jordi Pujol, and the Minister of Health, Alba Vergés. The writer Montserrat Roig and the journalist Horace Chauvet are also featured.
The Book of Honor is valuable not only for the figures who have signed it but also as a testament to the evolution of society and politics throughout the decades.
The exhibition, included with the general museum admission, allows visitors to discover references to historical moments, such as the visit of Juan Carlos I de Borbón in 1982. This micro-exhibition will be available to the public until April 5, 2026, offering a unique insight into the cultural and political influence of the Farmàcia Esteva.
