The Gendarmerie of the Pyrénées-Orientales has located safe and sound the 40-year-old man who disappeared on the night of January 9, 2026, in Les Angles (Capcir) after attending the Garosnow festival.

The Gendarmerie of the Pyrénées-Orientales department confirmed the finding, although no further details have been made public regarding the circumstances of the case's resolution. The 40-year-old man is a resident of Camurac, a small mountain municipality located in Aude.
The disappearance occurred on the night of January 9, 2026, after the man traveled with friends to Les Angles, in Capcir (French Pyrenees), to attend the Garosnow music festival.
He was last seen around 8:30 p.m. Upon leaving the festival, he failed to show up at the meeting point agreed upon with his friends at 3 a.m. to return to Aude, which is when the search began.
The call for witnesses was centralized at the Gendarmerie brigade in Font-Romeu, a key location in Alta Cerdanya. This point serves as a police reference for the entire Pyrenean area, given the frequent mobility between regions and departments during the winter season.
