The owners of the Sanillés spa hotel in Lles de Cerdanya have unveiled plans to transform the long-disused site into a residential complex focused on health, therapy, and active aging.

Siblings Karina, Frank, and Pablo Lamprill aim to restore the 19th-century estate, which has been in their family since 1994. The project envisions a sustainable community model with 28 co-housing units designed for seniors seeking a healthy lifestyle in the Pyrenees.

"We want to recover the facilities with uses that rescue the spa spirit of the old building as well as the value of the location, which is unique in the Pyrenees."

The first phase of the renovation involves a 3.2 million euro investment to adapt the main building, originally constructed in 1876. Future stages will include a restaurant, training spaces, and new hotel and spa facilities, all utilizing the area's natural thermal springs.
