The town of Llívia has taken a step forward in cultural revitalization with this continuous program, which follows the success of the show held late last year and aims to consolidate the municipality as a scenic reference in the Cerdanya region.
The new season will open on Friday, February 21, with the performance of El Crèdit (The Credit), one of the most famous comedies by Jordi Galceran. The play will arrive at the Espai Teatre multipurpose hall, presented by the company Vada Retro Teatre, based in Barcelona.
Although the rest of the lineup will be announced in the coming weeks, it has been confirmed that on April 11, coinciding with the Pasqüetes festivities, Un jurat femení (A Female Jury) will be performed. This production by the local theatre group will premiere as a complete stage production after being previously presented as a dramatic reading.
The initiative's organizers explained that the positive public response to last year's amateur theatre show was key to launching this regular program, which complements the annual event also scheduled for 2026. Furthermore, the organization aims to encourage participation from other companies in the region.
In parallel, training activities are also gaining momentum. The youth theatre school will start classes this February, while the adult group has been working and rehearsing for months at the Espai Teatre, strengthening the link between training and exhibition.
