The event, titled Mary Jones Grandiosa, took place last Friday and was one of the central acts of the Festa del Roser. The performance successfully filled the venue, demonstrating its appeal across generations.
Organized by the Associació Cultural Veïns d'Ollers, the show stood out for its combination of physical skill, humorous tone, and dynamic staging. The acrobatic acts and audience interaction created an intimate and participatory atmosphere, enhancing the cultural essence of the day.
This activity is part of the Festa del Roser program, a traditional celebration dedicated to the Mare de Déu del Roser that annually offers a wide array of cultural and festive events in the municipality.
Friday's agenda also included other significant events, such as a flower stall in the Plaça del Cafè, the unveiling of a commemorative plaque related to the donation of the Cafè building to the village, and the literary presentation of the work El somni de Gaudí.
The Festa del Roser will continue throughout the weekend with more activities. Saturday's schedule includes a procession with the Verge de la Serra de Montblanc band, a solemn mass, and an electronic vermouth, as well as storytelling for children and adults. On Sunday, the program will conclude with an informational meeting about the Casal d'Estiu 2026 summer camp.
