The Conca de Barberà Regional Museum will host a public lecture on March 29th regarding the total solar eclipse, featuring insights from a URV vice-rector.

The event, titled L'eclipsi solar. Una experiència per ser viscuda, is scheduled for 12:00 PM. It aims to prepare the public for the total solar eclipse on August 12th, the first of its kind visible in the Iberian Peninsula in over a century.
Dr. Urbano Lorenzo, Vice-Rector for Scientific Policy at Rovira i Virgili University, will lead the session. He plans to share expert advice on the best viewing locations and essential safety protocols to protect eye health during the observation.
Organized by the URV Extended Campus, the Diputació de Tarragona, and the Regional Museum, the activity seeks to promote scientific literacy ahead of this historic astronomical phenomenon.
