Conca de Barberà to Revive Regional 'Diables' Meeting in 2026

The town of Solivella will host the traditional fire festival after a ten-year hiatus.

The traditional fire-running groups of Conca de Barberà will gather again on May 23, 2026, in Solivella, marking the return of a regional festival that has been absent for a decade.

This 7th edition will also feature the 2nd Regional Meeting of Children's Groups. The decision to resume the event was made last December during a meeting in Solivella, where the five local groups agreed to work together to strengthen regional cultural ties.
The last meeting was held in Santa Coloma de Queralt back in 2016. A new itinerant schedule has been established, with future events planned for Pira (2027), Montblanc (2028), L'Espluga de Francolí (2029), and Santa Coloma de Queralt (2030).
Organizers, supported by the Conca de Barberà Regional Council and the Solivella Town Council, are seeking sponsors to help cover the rising costs of pyrotechnics and logistics for the upcoming celebration.
