The town of l'Espluga de Francolí celebrated its iconic '1,000 Costumes' Grand Parade this Saturday, establishing itself as the main Carnival attraction in the Conca de Barberà region.

The event featured 24 carnival groups and more than 530 participants who marched from Doctor Farré Avenue to Casal Square. The parade was characterized by elaborate floats and satirical themes, drawing large crowds to the local streets.
Following the parade, 355 people gathered at the Casal for a communal dinner and the annual awards ceremony for the best costumes. The celebration continued late into the night with musical performances by DJ Moya and DJ Madgo.
Carnival activities will proceed this Sunday with a children's party at the Casal Pavilion, concluding on Tuesday with the traditional reading of the King Carnival's last will and testament.
