The Museu Terra in l'Espluga de Francolí will host the touring exhibition A mig foc in January 2027, focusing on rural knowledge and contemporary art.

This cultural initiative is promoted by the IVAM (Valencia Institute of Modern Art) and features 27 artists. The exhibition opened today, February 18, in Valencia, starting a tour that includes Mallorca and Huesca.
The project explores the connection between traditional crafts and modern artistic practices. As a co-producer, Museu Terra strengthens its role as a bridge between rural heritage and contemporary creation in the Conca de Barberà region.

"This is an opportunity to strengthen the role of Museu Terra as a space for dialogue between contemporary creation and rural knowledge."

Aida Boix Grau · Director of Museu Terra
The Fundació Carulla cultural center will adapt the display to the local context, using art as a tool to reflect on sustainability and collective memory.
