The regional councils of Alt Camp, Conca de Barberà, and Urgell have unveiled a new set of promotional materials for the GR 175 itinerary of the Ruta del Cister.

The aim is to strengthen the promotion and commercialization of this hiking and cycling route that connects the monasteries of Santes Creus, Santa Maria de Poblet, and Santa Maria de Vallbona.
Under the creative concept 'The path that TRANSFORMS YOU', the new materials highlight the experience of discovering the territory, connecting with heritage, and personal transformation through contact with nature and the landscapes of the area.
The project includes a detailed map-guide available in four languages (Catalan, Spanish, English, and French), offering information on the route's five stages and practical advice for traversing it on foot, by mountain bike, or electric bicycle.
The 'carnet 6T' (6T booklet) has also been redesigned, following the project's new graphic identity, allowing participants to collect stamps from the villages along the route. This initiative is complemented by personalized diplomas for those who complete the itinerary and collect all the required stamps.
This initiative seeks to establish the GR 175 as one of Catalonia's premier hiking and cycling routes, improving visitor reception and loyalty, and fostering sustainable tourism development in the integrated territories.
The project was led by the Consell Comarcal de la Conca de Barberà and funded by European Next Generation EU funds, as part of the Plan for Sustainable Tourism in Destinations.
