Sarral resident Albert Esteller is promoting an initiative to commemorate the exhibition match played by the national roller hockey team in Conca de Barberà during the summer of 1976.

On July 31, 1976, the national hockey team visited Sarral to officially open the sports court at the Martí l'Humà development. The team, led by coach Joan Sabater, went on to win the World Championship in Oviedo just weeks later.

"The Sarral match is the most exceptional in the history of hockey."

Beyond sports nostalgia, Albert Esteller aims to raise visibility for Huntington's disease. This rare neurodegenerative condition affects motor and cognitive abilities, sharing similarities with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.
