Success for 9th 'Forès Viu el Vi' event with hundred attendees and Conca wine pairings

The municipality of Forès (Conca de Barberà) successfully held the ninth edition of 'Forès Viu el Vi' this Saturday, gathering around a hundred attendees at the social venue.

The ninth edition of 'Forès Viu el Vi' was a success in participation, bringing together about a hundred attendees at the social venue of the Forès Town Hall. The event featured a pairing session offered by the guest winery, Succés Vinícola from Pira, allowing all present to enjoy their products from the Conca de Barberà Designation of Origin.
The tasting was led by Albert Canela, co-owner of the winery, who explained the characteristics of four wines: Feedback 2020, Pedregal del 2021, Solà 2022, and Patxanga del 2024. The wines were accompanied by live music from the artist Arnau Roca, a singer from Móra d’Ebre, who entertained the event with a repertoire of national and international songs.

The Mayor of Forès, Julià Plaza, accompanied by Councilwoman Casilda Fabregat, presented a commemorative painting of ‘Forès, the viewpoint of the Conca’ to the Succés Vinícola winery and the singer Arnau Roca. The mayor highlighted the importance of community and the presence of special guests, such as the Gourmets de La Pobla de Mafumet and the Rovira brothers from Horta Torrenca, recent winners of the Calçot Growers Contest at the 44th Gran Festa de la Calçotada de Valls.
The day concluded with a raffle for gifts, including gastronomy books, bottles from Succés Vinícola, and products from Tòfona de la Conca. Additionally, a painting was unveiled at the social venue, created by the painter from Lleida, Llorenç Cervelló, which reproduces the last snowfall in Forès last January.
