Three arrested in Montblanc for alleged document forgery in city census

The National Police, supported by the Local Police, arrested three individuals this Monday in Montblanc for alleged document forgery related to the municipal census process.

The police operation took place at midday at the Citizen Service Office (OAC) in Montblanc. Officers acted in coordination within the municipal facilities following an investigation into irregular residency registrations.
The detainees include a Spanish woman and two foreign men. Investigators are focusing on the alleged commission of document forgery during the census application process, aimed at obtaining fraudulent registrations.

"This intervention prevents fraud in the municipal census and stops alleged criminals from taking advantage of vulnerable people for financial gain."
