The Sitges Town Council has organized a diverse range of activities to commemorate March 8th, International Women's Day, focusing on inclusion and human rights throughout the municipality.

The main event will take place on Sunday, March 8th, at 12:00 PM. Due to weather conditions, the reading of the Institutional Manifesto has been moved from Passeig de la Ribera to the Mercat Vell.
Cultural highlights include the exhibition Emerging Glances on Human Rights and the Unforgettable Women display at the Adult Education Center. Local libraries are also offering themed book collections and storytelling sessions.

Women's rights are also human rights.

The program also features a Feminist History Tour starting from Casino Prado Suburense and free guided tours at Sitges Museums focusing on female perspectives in art.
