The city of Girona experienced an intense Carnival celebration this Saturday, February 21st, with decentralized activities that brought the festivities to several neighborhoods across the capital.

The celebration began in the Montilivi and Palau-Sant Pau sector with a parade ending at Parc del Migdia. Residents enjoyed a traditional hot chocolate and a musical performance by Rikus, alongside a costume contest rewarding individual and group creativity.
In the Devesa-Güell area, the Caixa de Trons percussion group led the parade to Plaça Miquel de Palol. There, families watched the show Rodamons by the Menuda Buena Onda group while enjoying local snacks.
The Santa Eugènia and Can Gibert neighborhoods also hosted a parade that concluded at the Montfalgars school. Meanwhile, the Sant Narcís Neighborhood Association organized an afternoon of music and children's entertainment to close a day defined by community spirit.
