The Girona-Costa Brava Guitar Festival has unveiled its lineup for the 2026 edition, scheduled from June 27 to September 27. The event promises an eclectic program spanning genres such as classical music, jazz, flamenco, tango, folk, boleros, and rhythm & blues, all centered around the guitar.
The program includes diverse performances, such as a Sephardic music concert by Emma Campàs & Afra Camós on July 15, and a tribute to Dire Straits by Saltors on July 28. The festival's stages will be spread across various towns in the Girona region, including Girona, Palamós, l’Escala, Platja d’Aro, Sant Gregori, and Santa Cristina d’Aro.
The opening concert will take place this Saturday at the Casa de Cultura de Girona, featuring a double duet performance: Ai Ai Graça, with Latin sounds, and Bertolini & De Vinco, offering a musical journey around the world. Other notable performances in Girona include the Trio Tico (July 5), Italian artist Agatino Scuderi (July 8), folk music by Diode (July 9), and a collaboration between Diego Cortés and Rafa Martí (July 10).
The lineup also features the Argentine duo Tangohyde, Lux Nova Duo (accordion and guitar) on July 2 at the Fundació Valvi, Lazzeri i Mastrini, Andreu Domènech Trio with flamenco, the Italian duo Allessi-Sciotto, Slidepiano, Pirogova & Agostinelli, Eduard Carreras i Ànima Negra, Mario Pino, Filippo Dall'Asta Gypsy Jazz Trio, Stefania & Maurizio di Fulvio, Madera Viva Trio, Ensemble Musicantes with medieval sounds, Múñoz & Manzano with boleros, Francisco Correa, and Mesut Otgen.
