These awards, organized since 1997 by the Girona Delegation of the College of Architects of Catalonia (COAC), are celebrating their 28th edition this year. In total, 77 works were submitted for consideration, from which the finalists were chosen.
Of the fifteen projects vying for recognition, six are in the Architectures category, which includes new constructions, renovations, and rehabilitations. Four projects compete in the Interiors section, focusing on the treatment of internal spaces. The Landscapes category, covering urban and natural areas, has three finalists, while the remaining two works belong to the Ephemeral category, dedicated to temporary installations and scenographies.
The jury responsible for the selection is chaired by Stephen Bates, with Beatriz Borque and Ramon Bosch serving as members. Interested parties can view the complete list of finalists on the official awards website, where they can also participate in voting for the Public Opinion Award.
