The Girona-based company Flock Drone Art Studio has achieved two notable milestones during the Air Invictus festival, held in Porto, Portugal. The company secured the Guinness World Record for the longest phrase written by drones, after forming the message '3100 drones e um propósito: quando sonhamos juntos, nao existe impossível' in the sky. Furthermore, they also broke the European record for the largest number of drones flying simultaneously in a light and aerial art show.
This double success comes just days after the company participated in the celebration of the blessing of the Sagrada Família, presided over by Pope Leo XIV, where they were responsible for projecting the figure of Antoni Gaudí into the Barcelona sky.
During the spectacle, which took place from Friday night to Saturday morning, Flock Drone Art Studio deployed 3,097 synchronized drones, thereby surpassing the previous European record. The phrase '3100 drones and a single purpose: when we dream together, nothing is impossible', displayed in the Porto sky, has been recognized by Guinness World Records as the longest ever created through a drone show. The previous record was set in Thailand in December 2025.
The company, headquartered in Girona, specializes in the design and production of drone shows that combine technology, creativity, and visual storytelling, contributing to large-scale cultural and institutional events.
