The director of Foodie culture Barcelona, Roger Ribó, has announced in Girona that the magazine will launch a specific edition for the province following the Easter holidays.

The announcement coincided with the release of the 18th issue of the magazine, featuring world-renowned pastry chef Jordi Roca on the cover. The new Girona edition will focus on local restaurants and the culinary talent within the region.
The presentation took place at the Simultáneo restaurant in the Catalonia Barcelona Plaza hotel. Jordi Roca, the youngest brother of the El Celler de Can Roca family, attended the event shortly after reopening his Rocambolesc ice cream parlor on Santa Clara street in Girona.
Foodie magazine, which started ten years ago, is a free publication distributed in hotels and high-end establishments, highlighting the most significant restaurants and the people behind them.
