Girona B secured a vital victory this Sunday by defeating Olot 4-1, coming from behind in a highly anticipated Segunda Federacion local derby held in Girona.

The visitors took the lead in the first half through a Martí Soler header. Olot controlled the early stages of the match, forcing several turnovers and preventing the home side from developing their usual passing game.
Despite Biel Farres missing a penalty just before half-time, Quique Alvarez's side showed great character in the second period. Carles Garrido equalized from the penalty spot before Sarasa put the hosts ahead.
Late goals from Mario and Gibi sealed the win for the Girona reserves, ensuring the three points stayed at home and providing a significant boost in their fight for league stability.
