Two small fires in Girona under control

Girona firefighters worked on Tuesday to contain two small urban fires, one in the Font de la Pólvora area and another on Lluís Pericot avenue. Both incidents are now under control.

The City Council of Girona has confirmed that two minor fires have occurred within the city. One incident was located in the Font de la Pólvora area, while the second took place near Lluís Pericot avenue.
Firefighters and Municipal Police officers were quickly dispatched to the affected sites to control and extinguish the flames. Authorities are advising the public to avoid approaching the areas where the fires broke out to facilitate emergency operations.

According to municipal reports, the mayor visited the Font de la Pólvora to directly oversee the emergency teams' efforts. It was reported a few minutes ago that the fire in this location has now been stabilized.
