Girona FM launches 'Dones amb talent,' a program dedicated to showcasing female leadership

The radio show, directed by Neus Vila i Figareda, will review life trajectories and the city's social evolution across 14 episodes.

The municipal radio station Girona FM will premiere the bi-weekly program "Dones amb talent" on Wednesday, January 14, an interview space hosted by Neus Vila i Figareda that will showcase the city's female talent.

The radio space, which will be broadcast bi-weekly, will consist of a total of 14 chapters. It is directed and presented by the trainer, communicator, and professor at the Universitat de Girona, Neus Vila i Figareda, using a close interview format as the guiding thread to delve into personal stories.

Through the conversations, the "Dones amb talent" program aims to offer a look at different life and professional trajectories of women linked to Girona. Furthermore, the goal is to draw a snapshot of the social changes experienced in the city and analyze the key role women have played in sectors such as sports, business, culture, health, science, and commerce.

The first chapter, airing on January 14, will feature Cristina Borràs i Ferré, trained in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences and founder of a Nordic walking company. Throughout the broadcasts, prominent figures such as Diana Ballart i Cerdan, Marta Farrés i Coll, Mariona Falcó i Oliu, Tati Cervià i Vidal, and Mariàngels Arbusé i Sancho will also participate, among others.

The program will air on Wednesdays at three in the afternoon, with repeats the same day at nine in the evening and on Thursdays at noon. Beyond the broadcast on Girona FM, the interviews will be recorded on video and will be available on demand and in podcast format via the station's website and digital platforms such as Spotify, iVoox, and YouTube.
