The player recently participated in the European championship with the Spanish team, coached by Sidi Omar, which secured the title after defeating Italy in the final held in Viareggio. A few days ago, Manau was welcomed at the Town Hall by its mayor, Àlex Neira, and the Sports Councillor, Carles Canals, to congratulate her on her victory.
Manau is part of the Spanish national team's squad for the Mundialito Beach Soccer Andalucía El Puerto de Santa María 2026, taking place from October 9th to 11th in El Puerto de Santa María. Spain will face Ukraine, Italy, and Brazil.
The Spanish national team has won the two women's editions of the Mundialito they have participated in, triumphing in Maspalomas in 2022 and repeating the title a year later in Isla Canela.
For Manau, this tournament represents another opportunity to compete with the national team after the European title. The footballer has other international commitments scheduled for the coming months, with potential competitions in Turkey, China, and Brazil.
