The aim of the visit is to secure funding to repair and rebuild the areas damaged by the storm. The Sant Cebrià de Vallalta City Council wishes to apply for the Council's aid line for emergency situations.
Prior to the tour, representatives from the Deputation met with municipal technicians to discuss the damage caused by the storm and the repair and reconstruction needs.
The tour included the entrance to the Can Palau urbanization, where the stream caused significant damage, and the area around deposit 2, on the Sallent stream. The most affected streets in Castellar d’Índies were also visited, particularly the intersections of Garbí and Ponent streets and Xaloc and Tramuntana streets, as well as the final stretch of the Vallalta stream.
