Empty train tracks cut off in a wooded area following a landslide that has affected the service.

The Rodalies commuter rail service has been suspended across the entire railway network in Catalonia this Saturday morning, after Renfe and Adif informed the Government of their inability to operate normally.

The suspension follows a landslide that occurred on Friday afternoon on the R1 line, between Maçanet and Tordera, forcing the closure of the line up to Blanes.
The Department of Territory of the Generalitat confirmed the situation, assuring that alternative services are being maintained to guarantee the mobility of affected users, despite the interruption of ordinary service.
The parties involved, including operators Renfe and Adif, began an emergency meeting on Friday at 7 PM. They have scheduled a new meeting at the department's headquarters on Saturday at 9 AM to find solutions and resume service as soon as possible.
