The Tordera City Council has launched literary itineraries open to the public this January to commemorate the 159th anniversary of the birth of writer Prudenci Bertrana.

The first meeting of this cycle will take place on Saturday, January 24, starting at 9 a.m. from the Municipal Historical Archive – Prudenci Bertrana Space. The route, approximately 4 kilometers long, is accessible and includes eight stops where explanations and readings of the author's texts will be held.
This initiative, promoted by the Department of Culture and coordinated by the Municipal Historical Archive, aims to create a cycle of itineraries that can be developed throughout the four seasons of the year.
This first itinerary combines literary heritage, natural heritage, and historical memory, focusing on Bertrana's life and work during the period between 1909 and 1911. The texts used come from the conference De les belleses de la natura i el meu goig and the collection of narratives Proses Bàrbares.
The selected readings describe the lands and characters that the writer from Tordera knew during his childhood and youth. The main goal is to disseminate and bring the work of Prudenci Bertrana closer to the public, although it should be noted that all places for this first route are already sold out.
