The Moià City Council and the Moianès County Council have joined the Association of Municipalities for Urban Mobility and Transport (AMTU) to bolster collaboration on mobility enhancements.

Moià's primary goal is to improve public transport stops and secure funding for new shelters. The County Council, meanwhile, seeks AMTU's support to adapt transport services to rising demand, contribute to the Generalitat's new service map, and advance mobility solutions tailored for rural areas.
This adhesion was formalized on October 14th during a press conference attended by AMTU's Director General, Juan Manuel Segovia, Moià's Mayor, Dionís Guiteras, the County Council's President, Laia Bonells, and its mobility counselor, Xavi Bach.
Through this membership, the three entities reaffirm their commitment to coordinated efforts for more sustainable, connected, and territory-appropriate mobility.
