Individuals over 30 years old in Montornès del Vallès have until next November 13th to submit their ideas for community activities. Proposals can be submitted online through the form available on the website montornes.cat/mes30kosmos, or in person by depositing ballot papers in the designated ballot boxes at various municipal facilities.
This initiative, named +30 Kosmos, will allow residents to promote proposals with social, cultural, sports, artistic, or leisure impact. To participate, a minimum group of three individuals over 30 must be formed to present their initiatives during the +30 Kosmos assembly, scheduled for November 21st, from 6 PM to 8 PM, at the Teatre Margarida Xirgu.
Once the proposals are debated and voted upon, the steering group for each activity will lead its implementation, with the financial and technical support of the City Council. Proposals can be submitted until November 13th, with a preference for the online method. Ballot papers are also available at the Centre and Nord citizen service offices.
This year's participatory budget call has a total allocation of 12,000 euros. Each activity must have a cost of less than 3,000 euros.
Regarding the proposals from the 2026 edition, two activities are still pending: the Stoping 80's Remember party, scheduled for October 17th, and the Halloween party in the Manso Calders neighborhood, on October 31st starting at 6 PM, featuring a terror tunnel and a "Trick or Treat" among other activities.
