The Alcanar City Council has initiated the tender process for the improvement of Camí de Virol, an action valued at over 318,000 euros, to be financed with the council's own resources.

This intervention, long-awaited by residents, primarily aims to adapt and pave the road surface to ensure optimal conditions of safety, accessibility, and comfort for users. The project envisages a comprehensive overhaul to correct current deficiencies and guarantee a more durable infrastructure.
The Camí de Virol is considered one of the main mobility arteries in Alcanar, essential for both the agricultural sector and daily commutes. It is regularly used by farmers and numerous individuals traveling towards Les Cases d'Alcanar. Furthermore, several residents live along this path, underscoring the importance of this improvement for their quality of life.

"All the necessary technical process has been carried out to reach this point and tender a highly demanded action. With this action, the council responds to a territorial demand and takes a step forward to improve an essential infrastructure for the economic activity and daily life of the municipality."
