The Local Government Board of Amposta has given the green light to the improvement project for the Carrer Major road, an investment of €258,000 to completely renovate the thoroughfare.

The project includes the integral renewal of the road surface using asphalt surfacing, ensuring better traffic flow and contributing to the preservation of one of the municipality's riverside paths.
Mayor Adam Tomàs highlighted the consistent investment in the municipal road network. He recalled that after investing over €550,000 in dryland area roads during the winter, improvements are now continuing on the riverside paths, which began with the works on the Senyora road, set to conclude in the coming weeks.
Concurrently, the council is working on new projects to enhance the rural road network. The project for the Pescadors, Lligallo de La Culs, and Comes roads is currently in the final stages of drafting.
