The project, with a budget of 287,853 euros, was developed in collaboration with the Sectoral Working Table for People with Disabilities. The initiative is part of the 2025 budget agreement to improve urban accessibility.
The new play area will cover 1,030 square meters at the southeast end of the square. The design includes a dozen elements divided into dynamic and quiet play zones, intended to promote the sensory, physical, and social development of all children, regardless of their abilities.
According to the municipal schedule, the work will be completed by the end of the year. The existing play equipment, which is aging, will be removed and kept as spare parts for other city facilities.
