The La Ràpita City Council, through Health Councillor Judith Ferragut, has presented the second edition of the 'Salut Viva la Ràpita' program, an initiative aimed at promoting integral health, emotional well-being, and social cohesion in the municipality throughout April.

This proposal continues the project launched last year, expanding the range of activities for all audiences. Councillor Ferragut emphasized the consolidation of an initiative born with the commitment to foster health from a holistic perspective, focusing on emotional well-being and social cohesion.

"We are consolidating an initiative that was born with the commitment to promote health from an integral perspective, impacting emotional well-being and social cohesion."

Among the notable novelties is the celebration of the 1st Health and Well-being Day, scheduled for April 11 at the Pavelló Firal. This open day for citizens will feature the participation of health and social entities, as well as local public services. Workshops, family activities, talks, defibrillator practices, walks, and spaces dedicated to reading and care will be held, aiming to promote healthy habits and community participation.
The program will also host the Neurodiversity and Autism Conference 'Mirades que sumen' on April 16 at the Auditori Sixto Mir. This activity, promoted with the Montea Center and the collaboration of the Department of Education and the Official College of Physicians of Tarragona, is aimed at professionals in the educational, health, and social fields, seeking to advance towards more accessible and inclusive services for everyone. The councillor added that the conference will also continue the project of adapting spaces at the CAP de la Ràpita for people with neurodiversity.
Throughout the month, 'Salut Viva' will be complemented by exhibitions, talks, educational activities, community health spaces, and awareness campaigns, such as the commemoration of World Health Day and World Autism Awareness Day. Activities will also be held at the library, the Casal del Jubilat, and the Espai Jove, along with interviews and outreach actions.

"What is sought with Salut Viva is to offer a transversal program that reaches all ages and addresses different areas of health, from mental health to healthy lifestyle habits."
