The La Sénia City Council has replaced the deteriorated vinyl aircraft profiles at the Airfield Heritage Site with Dibond panels, enhancing the image and resilience of this historical space.

The project to replace the original vinyl profiles of the aircraft installed at the Airfield Heritage Site has been successfully completed. The new panels are made of Dibond material, an action that improves the visual quality, durability, and overall image of this important heritage area in the municipality of La Sénia.
These aircraft profiles, acquired by the council to decorate and contextualize the former military site, fulfill an essential interpretive and informative function for the site's explanatory narrative. Continuous exposure to adverse weather conditions had caused progressive deterioration of the original vinyl, affecting both its readability and aesthetics.
Dibond is a material particularly suitable for outdoor use, as it offers high resistance to sun, rain, and wind, while allowing for high-quality printing. This choice ensures a sharper, more stable, and professional image, enhancing the visitor experience and strengthening the interpretive value of the Airfield Heritage Site.
This initiative is part of the policies for the maintenance and enhancement of local historical heritage. The project received financial support from the Memorial Democràtic de Catalunya. The total cost of the project was 5,291.67 euros, of which 3,386.66 euros were subsidized.
