Catalan learning and promotion programs driven by the Amposta City Council have concluded the academic year with the participation of over 120 people and twenty volunteers.

The initiatives, developed in collaboration with the Consorci per la Normalització Lingüística and Òmnium Cultural, are part of the 'Pla Educatiu d’Entorn' (Environment Educational Plan) and are consolidated by the municipal area of Social Rights and Citizenship.
One of the most popular proposals is the Voluntariat per la Llengua (Volunteering for Language) program, which this year reached five educational centers and involved 70 students. The initiative, launched three years ago at the Institut Escola Agustí Barberà, has gradually expanded and primarily targets students' families to facilitate their integration into school life through knowledge of the Catalan language.
The other project is Vincles (Bonds), promoted by Òmnium Cultural, which registered 58 enrollments this academic year. Of these, 35 people completed the training, a figure representing 60% continuity. The program offered five learning groups adapted to different needs, including one for Spanish speakers and another focused on literacy.
Beyond language learning, both programs aim to facilitate social participation and foster relationships among people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
