The Tortosa Chamber Orchestra (OCTO) will offer a free concert at the Ermita de la Pietat in Ulldecona, directed by Ricardo Forner, as part of the 'Música a les Ermites' cycle.

The Ermita de la Pietat in Ulldecona, a baroque sanctuary located at the foot of the Serra de Godall, will be the setting for this musical event. The repertoire will include works by great classical composers such as Dvořák, Vivaldi, Händel, Purcell, Strauss, and Haydn.
The concert, directed by Ricardo Forner, will feature the notable participation of two renowned soloists. Guitarist Jacob Cordover, with an international career spanning over twelve countries, and soprano Cecília Aymí López, recognized for her work in classical singing and opera.
This free activity is part of the small-format concert series ‘Música a les Ermites’ (Music in the Hermitages), an initiative by the Proto-fest festival in Tortosa. The project, launched in the autumn of 2024, aims to decentralize culture and bring quality musical proposals to valuable heritage and natural spaces in the Terres de l'Ebre, northern País Valencià, and the Franja de Ponent.
The choice of the Ermita de la Pietat, with its privileged views over the Foia d’Ulldecona, reinforces the cycle's goal of creating new meeting spaces between classical music, contemporary music, and the audience. The event is organized by Proto-fest and OCTO, in collaboration with the Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals, the Diputació de Tarragona, and the Ulldecona City Council.
