Balaguer hosts presentation of 'Balaig', a study on Jacint Verdaguer's Pyrenean journeys

The Balaguer Hiking Center is organizing the presentation of the book Balaig by Bernat Gasull i Roig this Friday, March 6th, at the Balaguer Town Hall.

The event will start at 8:00 PM and focuses on the research regarding Jacint Verdaguer's travels through the Pyrenees and his spiritual and physical link to Mount Canigó. The book is published by Verdaguer Edicions.
This lecture is part of the Les branques de Pirene series, a cultural and outdoor program launched last October to honor the legacy of the famous Catalan priest and poet.
Author Bernat Gasull is a biologist and Verdaguer expert who has worked on films such as Maleïda and Canigó 1883 with director Albert Naudin.
