The town of Ponts celebrates this February the 151st edition of Lo Ranxo, a festival blending gastronomy, music, and historical memory, with its main event on February 17th.

The program began with a mural exhibition dedicated to the festival's history. Highlights of the month include the Egames Ponts 2026 and a cultural cycle featuring Rafa Ramírez, Maria Àngels Cabré, and chef Sergi Aritzeta, who will lead literary and gastronomic talks.
The weekend before the main day will feature the Carnival parade and a sardana competition with Cobla Montgrins. A major highlight this year is the revival of the Lali-lali on Monday, February 16th, a tradition where children parade through the streets of Ponts to collect ingredients for the communal stew, accompanied by local artists Mag Reivax and Marta Pampalona.
Tuesday, February 17th, marks the festival's peak. The cauldrons will be lit at six in the morning on Font de Valldans avenue to prepare the traditional dish. The day includes music by Selvatana and the public distribution of the stew. The events will conclude on February 22nd with an intimate concert by Companyia Elèctrica Dharma.
