The festive atmosphere continues in Manlleu with the activities of the twenty-fifth edition of Fes-te Jove. This evening, the Prat del Rocòdrom will host the popular pre-bingo sausage grill, which starts at 9:30 PM. The organization requests that attendees bring tables and chairs for the event.
The festival is bringing back vintage activities such as the Jocs Tontos (Silly Games) and the 7-a-side Football Tournament, in collaboration with Àngels Caiguts. Registrations for these events are now open on the entity's website.
On Tuesday, August 11th, the fifth edition of the Manlleu Beer-Mile will take place, a competition that combines sport and beer. The participation fee is six euros, and registrations can be made through the same website.
The official celebration of the anniversary will be on Wednesday, August 12th, at the Prat del Rocòdrom, featuring the Anniversary Dinner and a concert by the local cover band Banda Borda Bestial Bastarda del Boira Baixa (BBBBBB).
On Thursday, August 13th, CircArt will feature a live performance by the group Avui. Additionally, the Jocs Tontos will be revived, along with Soundsystem, offering Jamaican music, also at the Prat del Rocòdrom.
On Saturday, August 15th, the parade of the Enterrament de la Bota (Burial of the Boot) will take place, culminating in the electronic music festival Alternative Sound.
Sunday, August 16th, the final day of the festival, will feature the Grand Rice Contest, the Obra de l’Enterrament de la Bota, the Glosa (poetic improvisation), and the Catalan Bowling Tournament, concluding the range of activities organized by the Manlleu commission to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
