The Osona-based band Oques Grasses marked the end of the first day of the Cabró Rock festival, held at the sports area in Vic, performing for a crowd of 30,000. This concert is a significant milestone, being the group's last performance in their home region before four farewell shows scheduled for October at the Estadi Olímpic.
During their set, Oques Grasses revisited some of their most iconic tracks, including "Cul" and "Serem Ocells", under the leadership of frontman Josep Montero. The festival's opening day also featured performances by other prominent artists from the Catalan Countries, such as Els Amics de les Arts, The Tyets, and Buhos. This edition of the festival has become its largest to date, with an expected attendance of 60,000 people across Friday and Saturday.
At an emotional point in the concert, Josep Montero addressed the Cabró Rock audience, many of whom have followed the band's journey since its early days. The singer recalled their fifteen or sixteen years of performing together and emphasized that the "good news" was that the concert was far from over. Montero also reminisced about their past performances at "local festivals and neighborhood parties in Osona," expressing gratitude to the people of Osona who supported them from the beginning, as well as to all their subsequent fans.
