The Club Olímpic Manlleu and the Sports Department of the Manlleu City Council have opened the registration period for the forty-ninth edition of the Festival Athletic Race. Participation is free and limited to 500 runners. Currently, 101 participants have registered, and organizers anticipate reaching 400.
Registrations can be made through the Club Olímpic Manlleu website or in person on the day of the race, August 15th, at Plaça Fra Bernadí until 9:30 AM.
The race, covering five kilometers, will start at Plaça Fra Bernadí, pass through streets of the old town and along the Passeig del Ter, finishing in the square of the town hall. The children's races will start at 10 AM, followed by the adult race.
Participants are advised to wear their bib numbers visibly and follow the instructions of the police, organizers, and volunteers to ensure safety. The organization is not responsible for accidents or damages.
In addition to the main race, two children's races will be held. The first is for those born from 2019 onwards, covering 250 meters (one lap of Plaça Fra Bernadí). The second race is for those born between 2018 and 2014, covering 500 meters (two laps of the square).
The top three male and female finishers in each children's race will receive a trophy.
