The exhibition "Masterpieces of the MEV. A Journey Through Medieval Art" invites visitors to discover how medieval art evolved from the austere beauty of Romanesque to the narrative splendor of Gothic. Through its masterpieces, the cultural, religious, and social changes that marked the Middle Ages will be explored.
The guided tour will cover everything from Romanesque frontals to Gothic altarpieces, highlighting the unique identity of Catalan medieval art. The event will take place between September 5 and September 27, 2026.
The event will be held at the MEV, Museum of Medieval Art, located in Vic. The guided tours are part of a route and guided tours program, organized by the museum itself. The entrance fee is €8.5.
