The 5th edition of the Rally Les Masies de Voltregà, fifth event in the Catalan Asphalt Rally calendar, was presented yesterday at the Town Hall of Les Masies de Voltregà, with the presence of authorities and representatives from the V-Line Org team.

The 5th edition of the Rally Les Masies de Voltregà, taking place on October 2, 2026, has been officially presented. This now-consolidated event is the fifth fixture in the Catalan Asphalt Rally calendar and benefits from the collaboration of the Town Halls of Les Masies de Voltregà and Manlleu, as well as the organizing team V-Line Org.
As a main novelty, the rally will span two stages. The night of Friday, October 2nd, will include a timed stage to be repeated twice, covering nearly 30% of the total route. This change allows for the inclusion of Taradell, with a regrouping scheduled for 9:12 PM on Balenyà road, at the Centre Cultural Can Costa. The collaboration between the three municipalities is key to the event's continuity, bringing the competition back to the Osona and Lluçanès regions.
Over 100 timed kilometers are expected, with around eighty participants registered in the Speed and Regularity categories. Notable entries include 10 Rally2 category vehicles and teams from the south of France, a result of V-Line Org's promotional efforts.
The ceremonial start will be from Manlleu on Friday, October 2nd, at 7 PM, from the Museu del Ter area. Competitors will tackle the new «Els Cortals-Collsaplana» stage (14.55 km) twice, with a regrouping in Taradell. The day will conclude in Les Masies de Voltregà.
On Saturday, the competition begins at 8:30 AM with a loop of stages: «La Costa dels Gats» (7.67 km), «Prats-Olost» (9.9 km), and «Fontfreda» (8.67 km). After the first regrouping in Manlleu (11:09 AM), teams will proceed to the assistance zone in Les Masies. A longer break in Manlleu is scheduled for 2:41 PM.
In the afternoon, participants will face the most iconic stage, «La Trona-Orís», to be completed twice. The final finish line in Les Masies de Voltregà will be reached at 7:35 PM, after 102 timed kilometers. The trophy ceremony is scheduled for 8:45 PM.

"The fifth edition of the Rally Les Masies de Voltregà is more than a sporting competition; it's a project that enhances the territory and promotes the name of Les Masies de Voltregà and the Osona region. It demonstrates that when municipalities work together, we can create high-level events with clear projection beyond our borders. The participation of French teams again shows our capacity to gain prestige, while also building local confidence with drivers and co-drivers from the region and good female participation."

"We are very pleased that the rally returns to Manlleu once again and that we are co-hosting the event. Furthermore, this year, in combination with the Pig and Beer Fair, we are sure that the two visitor profiles will blend well and they will be able to enjoy both events. We are also debuting a new location, precisely because of the fair, in a place that is emblematic for Manlleu: Passeig del Ter, in front of the Museu del Ter. We encourage everyone to come and see the rally and have a great weekend in Manlleu."

Arnau Rovira · Mayor of Manlleu

"Once again, the collaboration between the Town Halls of Les Masies de Voltregà and Manlleu, with the addition of Taradell this year, makes it easy for us to move forward with a rally that has become well-established in the calendar despite its youth. We appreciate the help from all involved who make it possible to continue adding editions to the Rally Les Masies de Voltregà, and we take this opportunity to emphasize safety, ensuring the public can enjoy the event while always respecting the marshals' instructions to guarantee its safe development."
